Definitions and References:
The song refers to Chinese astrological signs. Frank Black, born 1965, is a snake. Snakes are said to be intelligent, hard-working, slightly introverted, and business savvy. Rabbits, what Frank's ex-wife may have been, are said to be timid, compassionate, popular, protective, pessimistic, and in need of a strong base at home. Their ideal partners are said to be pigs or goats.
