-----------------------
-------------10-10-----
--7-7-h9-7-7-9--9--7---
-----------------------
-----------------------
-----------------------
E G A C
I want to ask you fellers
E G A C
Why do you shut me out?
          E G A C E G A C
When I've driven every place that they call land
E G A C
I talk plain talk
              E G A C
I've seen the moon sitting on the road
    E G A C E G A C
And I don't eat no Chateaubriand

BRIDGE:
A
And I drive my car
G#
Under same stars
F
Where the miles are
D (repeat verse chords twice)
Come back I demand
A
Dear Gentlemen
G#
Please let me in
F D Gm G
I don't know how I can make you understand

CHORUS:
      C B A E
I'm a pure denizen of the citizen's band
      C B A E
I'm a pure denizen of the citizen's band
      C B A E
I'm a pure denizen of the citizen's band
      C B A
I'm a pure denizen of the citizen's band

  RIFF 1 RIFF 2 RIFF 3
-----------|-----------|-----------|
-----------|-----------|-----------|
-----------|-----------|-----------|
-----------|-----------|-----------|
-----------|--0-4-7-9--|--0-4-7-4--|
--0-4-7-9--|-----------|-----------|

These are the two main riffs. Instead of messing up the tab
I am just giving you the jist of an easier way to play it:
-----------------------------|----------------------------
-----------------------------|----------------------------
-----------------------------|----------------------------
-----------------------------|--------2--4-----------2--4-
--------2--4-----------2--4--|--0--4--------0--0--4-------
--0--4--------0--0--4--------|----------------------------

B C#
Ahhhhh Ahhhhh

Play RIFF 1 and 2, and add in the B C# part when needed. Right before
the vocals come in, the guitar plays an open E string, and sounds like
the whammy bar is used to go down and the E string is bent on a fret.
I'm not sure exactly what they do. If you know, please let me know!
And during the "One thing that I can't stand..." parts, when you play
the riff. Start by playing the full riff, then just play the first 2
or 3 notes of it.

RIFF 1
Hey friend you know what I'd do

If I was making the bucks
         RIFF 3
Well I'd move me to a place
RIFF 1
Where all they had was trucks
               B C# RIFF 1
'Cause there's one thing that I can't stand
            B C# RIFF 1
There's one thing that I cannot stand
    B C# RIFF 1
One thing I cannot stand
B C# RIFF 1
Can't stand
B C# RIFF 1
Cannot stand
B C#
Can't stand
